Little Dunmow

Little Dunmow is situated in rural Essex, in the vale of the River Chelmer about 3 miles from Great Dunmow.  It can be reached from the Dunmow South exit of the A120. The centre of the old village has just 99 dwellings.

The Flitch Way country park follows the route of the old Braintree to Bishops Stortford railway to link Little Dunmow with the new settlement of Flitch Green. This new village, built on the site of a former sugar beet factory, is a self-contained community which became a separate civil parish in April 2009.
